Muhtar Kent

Muhtar Kent is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Coca-Cola Company, a position he has held since April 2009. Previously he was President and Chief Executive Officer and earlier, President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Kent joined The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta in 1978, holding a variety of marketing and operations leadership positions over the course of his career. In 1985, he became General Manager of Coca-Cola Turkey and Central Asia. Beginning in 1989, he served as President of the Company's East Central Europe Division and Senior Vice President of Coca-Cola International, with responsibility for 23 countries.

In 1995, Mr. Kent was named Managing Director of Coca-Cola Amatil-Europe, covering bottling operations in 12 countries. In 1999, he became President and CEO of the Efes Beverage Group, a diversified beverage company with Coca-Cola and beer operations across Southeast Europe, Turkey and Central Asia.

Mr. Kent returned to The Coca-Cola Company in 2005 as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company's North Asia, Eurasia and Middle East Group, an organization serving a broad and diverse region that included China, Japan and Russia. Less than a year later, he became President of Coca-Cola International, leading all of the Company's operations outside North America.

Mr. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Hull in England and a Master of Science degree in Administrative Sciences from Cass Business School, City University London.

Active in the global business community, Mr. Kent is co-chair of The Consumer Goods Forum, a fellow of the Foreign Policy Association, and a member of the Business Roundtable. He is also Chairman of the U.S.-China Business Council. He serves on the boards of Special Olympics International, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Emory University. 

   
Rodney Sacks
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Monster Beverage Corporation

In 1990 a consortium headed up by Mr. Sacks and his business partner, Hilton Schlosberg, acquired control of a publicly traded company which was ultimately merged into and became known as Hansen Natural Corporation. Hansen Natural Corporation acquired the Hansen's Natural Soda and Apple Juice business in 1992 for a purchase consideration of some $14.5 million. At that time sales were $17.5 million and the business had a grand total of 12 employees.

Mr. Sacks has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Natural Corporation, which changed its name to Monster Beverage Corporation earlier this year, since 1990. In 2002 Hansen Beverage Company launched the well known Monster Energy drink line which has risen to become the best selling energy drink (in units) in the United States. Under their stewardship, Monster Beverage's sales have grown to more than $1.9 billion and the Company today employs some 2,000 people.

Mr. Sacks is also a Director of Comair Limited, a publicly traded company that operates scheduled airlines under the British Airways and Kulula names in Southern Africa, from 1980 to the present.

 
     
Hilton Schlosberg

Hilton H. Schlosberg has had a successful career in industry, since completing graduate school in South Africa. At a young age, he served as an executive director of the fourth largest listed company in South Africa which comprised a broad spectrum of industry, including consumer products, and then moved to London to continue his career in mergers and acquisitions and the management of their successful integration. He has served as a director of a number of companies in South Africa, the UK and in the United States.

In 1990 he partnered with Rodney Sacks and with the backing of a number of investors, acquired a NASDAQ quoted company which merged with the Hansen business in 1992. In 1995 he relocated to the United States to assume an executive role with Hansen Natural Corporation and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Monster Beverage Corporation.

     
Dolf van den Brink
President and Chief Executive Officer
Heineken, USA

Dolf van den Brink was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Heineken USA, the nation's premier beer importer in October 2009.

He joined the company following a successful four-year tenure as the commercial director and deputy general manager of Bralima, Heineken’s subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In that role, van den Brink was responsible for all commercial activities (marketing, sales and distribution).

Prior to his time running Bralima, van den Brink spent eight years in highly developed markets.  He served as the international channel development manager for Heineken International from 2003 to 2005.

Van den Brink began his career at the Heineken Group Head Office in 1998 as a commercial management trainee, and between 1999 and 2003 held various sales and marketing positions.

A native of The Netherlands, van den Brink graduated from the University of Groningen with a dual Masters degree in Business Administration and Philosophy. He also participated in the advanced management program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

He currently resides in New York with his wife and their two children.

   
David A. Casinelli

David A. Casinelli is the Chief Operating Officer of D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. As Chief Operating Officer, Casinelli manages and executes all operational aspects of the company – from product development and marketing, to sales, strategic planning and service. Casinelli joined Yuengling in 1990 as Director of Sales and Marketing and subsequently progressed to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 1996. He has been at the forefront of leading Yuengling's commitment to engage the marketplace, and solidify its image as America's Oldest Brewery. In 2005, he received the Advertising Age Marketing 50 Award. Casinelli's vision and business acumen have made him one of the most influential and widely quoted leaders in the beer business. In 2006, Beer Business Daily readers named him as one of the most powerful 20 people in the industry. More recently, his vision and detailed planning of taking Yuengling to the great State of Ohio came to fruition and placed Yuengling in the national headlines. Prior to Yuengling, Casinelli held the position of District Sales Manager of the Mid-Atlantic region for All Brand Importers, Inc. A graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Casinelli currently resides in Collegeville, PA with his wife Joanne and three children.

   
Larry Schwartz

Diageo North America

Larry Schwartz serves as President of Diageo North America, the company’s largest market in terms of operating profit and sales. In his role, Schwartz oversees Diageo's U.S. and Canadian spirits, beer and wine business, managing the sales, marketing and overall performance of a wide array of premium brands including Smirnoff, Crown Royal, Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, Captain Morgan, Jose Cuervo, Baileys, Beaulieu Vineyard and Sterling Vineyards wines. 

Schwartz joined Diageo in 2001 as President of Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, an acquired business of Diageo. In 2003, he was appointed President of Diageo North America's Key Market Hub and became President of the entire U.S. Spirits business in 2005.  In 2007, Schwartz also took over leadership for Diageo's U.S. National Accounts business and in September 2008, Schwartz was appointed to the role of President, Diageo USA. He was appointed to his current role in March 2012.

During his time with Diageo, Schwartz has consistently led profitable and sustainable growth of the business resulting in significant share growth; led innovation in Reserve brands; resourced top talent; built organizational capability; led several reorganizations to successful integration; developed and enhanced long-standing relationships with distributor and retail customers and helped to build Diageo's brands with consumers.

Prior to joining Diageo, Schwartz was with Joseph E. Seagram & Sons where he began his career in trade and consumer research before moving to a variety of sales and leadership positions.

   

Albert P. Carey

Albert (Al) P. Carey is Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo Americas Beverages, a unit of PepsiCo. PepsiCo owns the world's largest portfolio of billion–dollar food and beverage brands, including 19 different product lines, each of which generates more than $1 billion in annual retail sales each. PepsiCo’s main businesses – Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade, Frito–Lay, and Pepsi Cola – also make hundreds of other enjoyable and wholesome foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world. With net revenues of approximately $60 billion, PepsiCo employs nearly 300,000 people worldwide.

Carey assumed this role in September 2011 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of PepsiCo's Beverage business across North, South and Central America.

Carey joined PepsiCo in 1981, and has served in a variety of positions, including director, Trade Development, Frito–Lay North America (FLNA); vice president, National Sales, FLNA; vice president/general manager, Foodservice, FLNA; division president, FLNA West; chief operating officer, FLNA; senior vice president, Sales, Pepsi-Cola North America (PCNA); senior vice president, Sales and Retailer Strategies, PCNA; chief operating officer, PepsiCo Beverages and Foods; president, PepsiCo Sales; and most recently as president and chief executive officer, FLNA. In this role, Carey was responsible for overseeing all of FLNA – the company's most profitable operating division and largest North American business.

Before joining PepsiCo, Carey worked at Procter & Gamble.

Carey is based in Somers, N.Y.
