In his role as Director of Business Planning, Asher Wren collaborates with new clients, consulting with the Firstborn’s strategy, creative and technology teams to ensure that client objectives are met and that user experience is consistent with project vision.
Asher began his career in London in 2008, working in the digital department for music network MAMA Group, working first for Supervision Management, and subsequently for Nettwerk and The Great Escape Festival. Asher joined London-based social media agency Tempero in 2011 where he executed social strategies for brands as varied as Xbox, Activision, McDonald’s, British Airways and Sony. In 2013 Asher emigrated to New York to launch Tempero’s U.S. offering, bringing on board marquee accounts including TIDAL, Topman and the New York Times. Prior to joining Firstborn in 2018, Asher spent three years as New Business Director at social agency ICUC, where he provided strategic consultation for brands such as GM and Ralph Lauren.
Asher has contributed to publications such as the Huffington Post and Figaro Digital, and plays a mean game of Ping Pong.
