Experience: Began career upon completion of undergraduate degree from Boston College on Wall Street working for the Bradford Trust Company. After working within the financial community went on to hold several senior management positions within the beverage industry from 1980 through 2000. Associated with several leading U.S. malt beverages (including Miller Brewing Company, Labatt USA, Molson USA, Guinness Import), wine products (Canandaigua Brands) and soft drinks (R.C. Cola, Perrier Group) during this time.
Began publishing career with Medical World Communications in 2000. It was an opportunity to leverage extensive experience within the beverage industry, while taking up the exciting challenge of learning the publishing business. Assumed the role of Publisher for New Products Magazine in November, 2005. New Products Magazine was an organic start-up, and the only industry publication dedicated entirely to new food and beverage products for retail, food service and culinary menu development. It was targeted to new product development teams (R&D, Marketing & Sales and General Management) within both consumer packaged goods companies and food service operations.
Joined BNP Media in September 2007 upon the acquisition of Ascend Media’s Food, Beverage & Packaging Group as Publisher for Beverage Industry Magazine. Beverage Industry Magazine is a leading business to business publication covering production, marketing, technology and distribution of the $221.0 billion beverage marketplace.
